Bureau of Labor Statistics Releases Report on Nonunion v. Union Hourly Pay

Nonunionized workers' pay rose more than unionized workers over the past 12 months (ending in September). According to a Bureau of Labor Statistics report released on Dec. 7, 2011, the average hourly pay of nonunion workers rose to $19.55 from $19.28 (1.4%). In contrast, unionized employees compensation rose $23.19 to $23.26 (0.3%).  The December 2010 data can be found here.
